Banking is one of our traditional strengths, and real estate finance has always been an important and thriving part of that practice. Our dedicated finance group specializes in support of all areas of finance, both cross-border and domestic, including the following:

 * Senior, mezzanine, second lien, preferred equity and other structures
 * Restructurings.

The group acts primarily for debt arrangers but also for equity houses, borrowers and financial advisors. The group has broad experience in both large and mid-market deals, domestic and cross-border. We also have extensive experience in complex structuring and exit options, and advise on other structured finance transactions including, for example, securitization and bridge finance. We also work with international securities group CMBS in complex securitization transactions.

 

• Up-to-date market awareness, and knowledge of how this impacts on the type of financing required for projects. We have advised in relation to all types of mezzanine and subordinated finance, including mezzanine with and without warrants, second lien financings and high yield issues.

• Experience in exit financings: The group has considerable experience in the type of financings that may be required on an exit from an floating rate short term bridge product, and is thus able to provide ongoing advice to clients both in anticipation of, and following on from, an exit.
